About Vissum · Ophthalmological Corporation
VISSUM’s name comes from joining two words: ‘VISION’ and ‘SUM’.
To offer the best visual quality for all our patients is the objective of VISSUM and all the professionals who work there.
Sight is one of our most important senses. However, its worsening is something that affects all of us sooner or later. When this moment comes, the best compensation is to feel safe, placing our trust in the professionals who take care of us.
Therefore, in VISSUM we want our patients to always feel that they are in the best hands, with a team of highly specialised ophthalmologists working together to provide a comprehensive treatment, to have the assurance of being treated by expert professionals, who have the experience and technology necessary to implement the latest techniques for all ocular diseases and defects in the same centre.
Each year we diagnose and treat more than 44,000 new patients, performing over 7,000 surgical interventions. From operations with lasers to correct visual defects such as near-sightedness or far-sightedness, cutting-edge multi-focal lens implants for cataracts, retina surgery, or corneal transplants, we offer a comprehensive ophthalmology service always considering each patient as the centre of our concern.
To be able to provide the best eye care service in Vissum we research in multiple areas, developing new procedures and incorporating new technology capable of earlier diagnosis and treating each of our patients even better.
Welcome to VISSUM
